A Passion For Wine
At Alagonia we're inspired by the splendor, distinctiveness and exceptional quality of wine being produced in Oregon, California and Washington State. We've lived in these regions, and after returning to Australia we missed having access to their exceptional wines. We believe that Australians shouldn't have to travel to the US just to experience them.
Our journey began on the west coast of the US, where we found wines of precision and elegance that rivaled the best in the old world. We are guided by our philosophy that only wines we know and love should make it on to our list.
We have used our first-hand experience living in the US to select exceptional wines that are well-balanced, elegant, complex, age-worthy, and express their terroir. These are the wines we love to drink, and are the ones we keep in our personal cellars.
